I had a fantastic one-night stay where the pool area was a perfect spot to relax, and I loved the vegan options at dinner. The view from my room was breathtaking, but I wish the pool had longer hours to enjoy it.

I had a lovely time soaking in the gorgeous outdoor pool and enjoying the stunning views over the coastline. The hotel also had a relaxing garden area, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads up, I was surprised by an unexpected fee for a room upgrade, but it didn’t really ruin my experience. 😊

The pool area was stunning with beautiful sea views, perfect for relaxing. My teenagers loved the spacious double room and we all enjoyed the delicious food at the restaurant, especially the diverse breakfast selection.
In my wife’s opinion, the gym equipment needed an upgrade.

peaceful park views and nearby beach strolls await you
I really enjoyed my stay with a comfortable big bed and beautiful garden views, with the beach just around 2 km away making it perfect for a morning walk to enjoy the coast. the hotel's surroundings are also great for exploring the stunning Castelldefels Castle, just a short walk of almost 2 km away, adding a lovely historic touch to your city strolls. As a solo traveler, I appreciated that the staff were friendly and responsive, always there to help me plan my walks and trips around the area. however, I found myself wishing for a coffee machine available throughout the day, because having coffee in the room or lobby would have been nice but it was only served during breakfast hours.

missingWrote a review on Jul 04dated decor
Reaching nearby attractions feels like a workout. it's a steep hill from the beach, taking about 20 minutes to walk down, and coming back can be a chore. The rooms could use a facelift—some decor feels outdated, and certain amenities like the lack of coffee-making facilities left me wanting more for a supposed four-star experience. The breakfast selection could also leave you puzzled, as it lacks variety and quality, with some items tasting questionable at best. Plus, the Wi-Fi connectivity in my room was spotty at times, which isn't ideal for keeping in touch with the Falcon.

I absolutely loved the stunning views of the Mediterranean from my room, which beautifully overlooked the lush pine trees. The resort-style pool area was inviting and perfect for relaxation, making my stay truly enjoyable as a senior traveler.
Better accessibility routes for seniors would be beneficial.

Beautiful location with breathtaking views. The shuttle service is only seasonal, which was inconvenient. Pool area is stunning and very relaxing. Lots of dining options nearby, but the dinner menu can get repetitive. Can't use Uber here, but train access is only a short walk. Great for those who like a scenic getaway, but expect a hike back up.

The Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime provided comfortable accommodations with a well-equipped business center that perfectly catered to my work needs. The dining experience was exceptional, with a diverse menu that included locally-sourced dishes, and the staff were efficient in assisting with any requirements. The hotel's location offered beautiful outdoor spaces, enhancing the overall ambiance.
The initial check-in process was disorganized and unwelcoming.
